About:
Barbara LeRoeye, the owner of Global Pet Foods l Niagara Falls, was educated and trained as a Nutritionist, and has more than twenty years experience in the field. She has counseled people regarding their dietary needs, and over time has developed her knowledge of homeopathic remedies and natural supplements..
When Barbara acquired her beloved whippets, Chloe and Bailey, she wanted to ensure that they also received the right food and health choices. She began to shop at the local Global Pet Foods store and very much liked their philosophy and products they had available.
After relocating to the Niagara Region, she had trouble finding the same type of products, services and information. As a result, she decided to combine her nutritional background with her passion for pets, and in 2007 opened Global Pet Foods l Niagara Falls.
Since then, Global Pet Foods l Niagara Falls has become one of the fastest growing global stores in Canada. She attributes this to her personal service, product lines, value for customers and the passion that she and her staff bring to the store. In 2010 Global Pet Foods l Niagara Falls was voted pet store of the year in the Niagara Region!

Since 2007 we have adopted over 130 cats through our store on behalf of the local humane society, and children and adults alike love our indoor cat walk and our seasonal window displays"

About:
Kaitlin graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in International Development. She was able to spend one year of her schooling in Ecuador. There, she lived in a remote ecological center in the rainforest, helping care for rescued Amazonian wildlife that had been a part of the illegal trafficking industry. She was also able to learn some Spanish, and began to develop her interest in animal care and welfare. While in school, Kaitlin worked as a summer student at Ten Thousand Villages, a non-profit, fair trade store that promotes environmental sustainability.
Like her Mom, Kaitlin has always been keenly aware of nutrition and is very much into eating healthy, and organically, where possible. It was a natural extension of her love of animals and good nutrition, to join her mom at Global Pet Foods | Niagara Falls.

Andrea has been involved in the animal industry for 29 years. Wanting a horse since she was a very little girl, she was finally able to purchase her first horse at the age of 19 when she transferred to British Columbia through the Bank of Montreal. The love of these animals took her to Northern Ontario later in life, where she purchased a farm and was able to raise her own horses. Of course with ample space on her farm came a variety of her favourite pets, including dogs and cats. Not being able to find her brand of dog food nor any horse supplies, she started her own pet supply store named Pets ‘N’ Ponies. Owning and operating the store for 5 years, she supplied the Northern community with horse supplies and better choices of dog and cat foods. Her store also appealed to the small animal lovers by selling hamsters, guinea pigs and gerbils, which were very tame since she allowed children to constantly handle them. With the winter months being too long and cold, her and her husband relocated to Niagara Falls. Once again looking for her dog’s food, she met Barb, the owner of the wonderful Global Pet Food Store here in Niagara Falls, and has joined the team with the hopes of being able to pass on all her learned knowledge to the people in the Niagara region.

Bonnie has been in the pet industry since she was 15, starting with grooming for about 9 years and then making her way into retail within the big box stores. She also worked for a veterinarian for a brief period after finishing her studies at Brock University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology. After some brief traveling, she began to develop a strong interest in natural pet care. This approach led her to Global Pet Foods, with whom she has been with for about 7 years now. She focuses on a holistic approach to pet care and is always up for a challenge with pet related issues.
In her spare time Bonnie enjoys spending time with her husband, twin girls, and dog Maya.
